Social ConvenorI am a third year PhD student working with Dr. Antonio Paez studying inequities and spatial trends in our transportation systems. I am also part of the Mobilizing Justice Partnership working in the Data Driven Equity Standards group. I am interested in equitable and sustainable transportation and housing, particularly in quantifying and qualifying emissions, affordability, and spatial trends in our urban communities.

Website and Social Media ManagerI am a first year MSc. student in the collaborative Astrobiology program with Dr. Greg Slater. My research is on organic geochemistry with a focus on Mars. Outside of my research, I enjoy gaming on my PS5, hiking (any outdoors time really), cooking, and rewatching shows. Overall, I am interested in all things space and astronomy from a non-mathematical perspective.
Special Event CoordinatorI am a second year M.Sc. student in the Earth and Environmental Sciences program under Dr. Elli Papangelakis. I will be studying fluvial geomorphology with an emphasis on the relationship between sediment and channel morphology. I enjoy being outdoors and managing Bluebird Environmental.
FIeld Trip CoordinatorI am a second year MA student under Dr. Gita Ljubicic in the Geography program at SEES. As a part of the StraightUpNorth Team, I will be collaborating with partners in Nunavut to identify climate change research trends across the territory. I enjoy reading, pottery wheel throwing, and playing the ukulele, but most of all, I love spending time in nature, whether it be hiking or camping in forests near or far away.
Field Trip CoordinatorI am a Masters student with the Quantitative Sedimentology Lab run by Dr. Janok Bhattacharya. My project involves studying paleoenvironmental parameters of a Cretaceous ocean using stratigraphy, geochemistry, and micropaleontology in the Northwest Territories. Another part of my project focuses on bringing reconciliation into geoscience research. Outside of academics I enjoy fossil and mushroom hunting, crocheting, hiking, and taking care of my farm in Stardew Valley! Will have extensive dino conversations. See you on the field trips!

Volunteer and Outreach CoordinatorI am Sadia Chowdhury; a second year PhD Student in Transport Geography under Dr. Darren Scott. My research focuses on future mobility based on travel behavior in Urban Area. I am a curious young fellow with a desire to learn something new; my passion for writing and traveling makes me more enthusiastic about the contemporary issues of my society.
Scholarship and Job CoordinatorI am in the first year of PhD under the supervision of Dr. Papangelakis. My research theme is impacts of urbanization on rivers. I am currently working on a project performing erosion risk assessment for a watershed in Toronto Region. I enjoy dancing and collecting rocks!
